WWE legend Nikki Garcia recently shared her hopes to see a showdown between The Voice‘s mega-star coaches Reba McEntire and Gwen Stefani on Blake Shelton’s wild bar game show Barmageddon. As the host of the outrageous bar-based game show, Garcia would love to see the two coaches go head-to-head in some of the show’s zany challenges.

Nikki Garcia Throws Support Behind a Barmageddon Battle of The Voice Coaches

In an interview, Garcia said she would love to test the friendly co-coaches’ competitive sides by facing off on an episode of the rambunctious program. As the host of Barmageddon, Garcia has seen more than enough contestant hijinks to envision the fun a Stefani versus McEntire face-off could provide.

“I’m all about girl power, so it would definitely be Gwen versus Reba,” Garcia said. “I mean, we’ve already seen Gwen on there twice. She kicks a lot of butts. She’s super competitive.”

Garcia appeared as a guest star on Monday night’s episode of The Voice to get the coaches and audience excited for the Barmageddon Holiday Special airing later that evening. Shelton and rap icon Ice-T brought their usual wild energy to the special’s holiday-themed challenges.

In one of the clips shared from the game show’s holiday episode, Shelton took on an impish Bad Santa persona only to get interrogated by Carson Daly and Ice-T. The rapper also embraced the silly spirit by donning a full Santa suit for a heated round of the show’s signature game Holiday Sharts, a Christmas twist on darts.

Nikki Garcia Celebrates a Holiday Tradition With Twin Sister Brie

For Garcia, the holiday season is all about beloved traditions, like “Drummer Boy” dinners started by her late grandfather. Each year, her family gets together the weekend before Christmas to enjoy her grandmother’s time-honored spaghetti and meatballs recipe. After dinner, they honor the nativities displayed throughout their home by marching along to Bing Crosby’s “The Little Drummer Boy.”

Garcia cherishes carrying on this tradition with her own family now. She and her twin sister Brie have continued acting as “Drummer Boy” dinner hosts to keep their grandfather’s memory alive.

After seeing Shelton and Ice-T celebrate the season with some grown-up fun, a face-off between coaching rivals Stefani and McEntire could make for a special holiday episode fans would not want to miss. Garcia said she would especially love to see the two icons battle it out over Buzzed Words, one of the show’s most popular and intense games.

Viewers can catch all of this season’s outrageous Barmageddon moments, including Shelton’s hilarious Santa impersonation, now that the special is available to stream on Peacock. With Garcia enthusiastic to showcase more of that unpredictable fun, a Stefani vs. McEntire showdown could certainly be in store for a future season.
